A class project created for Hello Scholar, to explore the possible uses of Midjourney Ai generated images in the ideation and exploration phase of an animation.
Roles: Concept, Animation, Design.
Brief:
COMPUTING AT YOUR FINGERTIPS.
My initial idea revolved around generating a futuristic Logitech mouse using Midjourney AI, that would be form fitting to the human hand, and can be worn like a glove. This mouse can influence its surroundings with a single touch, and can be used anywhere at any time.
Features: Deformable Shell, RFLX 2.0, Reinforced Interior, and DLTA Padding.

1. Focused on the assembly of the mouse, with parts flying in from offscreen to form around a holographic hand.
2. Focused more on the mouse growing on top of the hand over this reflective liquid surface that would ripple when touched by the floating hand.
3. Focused on a mouse that was more technological and would digitally morph into its final shape before creating an environment rippling impact.

Some of the modeling, animation, and design iterations this project went through
before completion.
Notes from Class/Scholar:
- The mouse design could be sleeker.
- The animated loop should be smoother.
- The contrast and values could be increased.
- More impact from the mouse, and use filmed reference.
Passes:
Each pass had its own challenges. There was a lot to take on in this project from ideating in Midjourney, modeling a futuristic mouse, creating strong motion using animation principles, and refinement of overall design.
